I’ve been listening to a lot of Paramore and blink-182 songs and other pop punk/alternative rock genre but mostly these two bands and listed above are just some of my favorite songs from the two bands.

I’ve already shared some of my sentiments on the band Paramore and on their latest album After Laughter on one of my previous post. As I’ve said I really liked their album RIOT and also because of the influence of my sister, she used to listen to them all the time. Now, I just started listening to them again because When It Rains came on my shuffled songs which is one of my favorite Paramore song. Sadly, they changed their sound which used to be a vibe of pop punk and alternative rock. Now, they are more pop but I still like their current sound though.

blink-182, should I tell more about them? When you say punk I think they’re the first one that will come into everyone’s mind. Their song All The Small Things was one of the anthems of most early 2000’s teen flick movies. Their album Enema of the State was their greatest album and also one of my favorite album.

I honestly miss this kind of music. Well, that’s my playlist for today. 😊

This playlist is a mixture of 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s songs. These kind of songs are just very timeless. I’ve been in my old-soul kind of mood these past few days (actually every day) that I’m also rewatching F.R.I.E.N.D.S again and blasting Backstreet Boys’ songs and watching their videos on Youtube all week because why not? I just really love Nick Carter lol. I don’t know why but I really like stuff from the past. I was born in the wrong generation.

What music from the past do you really like? 😊

Let’s talk about the power of music and how it helps to get over a bad day.

I believe music plays a very certain role in each person’s life. I truly believe that what you listen to tells something about your personality and what’s going through your head. Whatever genre you listen to it tells something about you. Music helps us to forget our problems even just for awhile (earphones on and ignore the world) and music is there when you feel so alone.

I personally want to thank music for everything. For every time that I got a lot of things in my head, for the times the silence is too loud and especially for helping me fall asleep. I sleep with my earphones on every night because I have trouble sleeping and it somehow helps even for just a few hours (still have that weird sleeping habit). But anyways, let’s go to the playlist.

For this playlist I’ve compiled the top 10 songs that sums up what I’ve been thinking/feeling for the past weeks or should I say for the past years lol. I love how the lyrics of these songs speak the words that my actual voice couldn’t say out loud, it makes me feel that I’m not the only one feeling and thinking this way, in a way that is actually sort of comforting. I would love to write and tell you more about this playlist but the music speaks itself, listen and you’ll get the story 😉 (I’m saying sorry in advance but this is probably one of the most depressing playlist you’ll ever listen to lol)

It’s quite cool telling a story through a series of songs. Create a playlist as well and share your story maybe? Ping me back, I want to listen. 😊
