THE MIND CAN BE A DANGEROUS PLACE

I’m in an empty crowd and the spotlight is on me.
I didn’t know what to do or what else to be,
my lips starts to open but no sound comes out.
I didn’t realize my worst fears are screaming loud

I’m in a vast land and darkness surrounds,
even my words are nowhere to be found.
I’m helpless like a hostage, bound and tied—
eyes covered, being tortured by my own mind.
